Bob Etherington is a charismatic and inspiring speaker with a sales background stretching back into the seventies and experience across many global markets.

His sales pedigree is unchallenged. He began his selling career with Xerox in London UK in 1970. Four years later he was headhunted by Grand Metropolitan Hotels and, after a few years there, by a City of London Broker. He then joined Global news and financial information leader Reuters in the early eighties to plan and lead the international sales campaigns for their growing stable of financial trading products.

In 1994 he moved to New York to take control of their Major Accounts strategy for US banks. International sales to these banks became so strong under his leadership, that he was asked to organise professional sales training for the whole company. In 2000, Bob left Reuters and set about building his own training business SpokenWord Ltd., a company founded 10 years previously with his partner Frances Tipper.
