Martyn is an organisational consultant specialising in executive coaching and management development through Time Management, Conflict Control, Targeted Selection and Coaching for Success workshops. Martyn also undertakes individual client consultations in counseling and personal development.

He is an Associate Director with Spokenword Ltd., Director of a Systems Consultancy and a Managing Partner of a Personal Development Practice.

Professional

Martyn Taaffe-Dooher’s past twenty years of Organisational Skills and Mentoring experience followed successful careers in general management and management consultancy.

Earlier as a Site Manager, developing to National Training Officer, with an international chain of restaurants and public houses, he undertook, directed and initiated assignments for substantial expansion programmes.

His insight, wisdom and experience were developed further through serving as an International Training & Development Manager in the retail and hospitality sector maintaining the European, African and the Middle Eastern market share, where he was responsible for the development of more than 600 senior managers. Additionally, his understanding of senior management matters and mentoring derives in part from having served as a lecturer for the National Examining Board of Supervisory Skills, to the current use of his extensive Psychology, CBT & NLP training providing blue chip companies with management skills designed to maintain and enhance productivity.

Background

Martyn Taaffe-Dooher was educated at Mount St. Mary’s, Stafford Polytechnic, Birmingham University and Birkbeck College - University of London. He is a Member of both the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, the Institute of Environmental Health Officers, and the Hotel, Catering and Institutional Management Association.
